Universal joint at base of joystick allows movement in any direction.  Steering is achieved by a twisting motion.

A low profile reduces visibility to other road users but is offset by the Speedy's uniqueness.  Psychedelic attire also helps.

Smooth or rough, the Speedy can take it!  A Speedy can even negotiate a BMX circuit (if ridden by a maniac - Ed.)

The offset rear wheel does not noticeably affect stability in left hand bends.  The rider can compsensate by leaning and stability is, in any case, very high.
